Hang on splashscreen on startup

I installed anjuta and glade to make a python project.

To startup Anjuta freeze with this log :

I get exactly the same issue trying to open a c/gtk+ project.

I solved the issue by deleting the .anjuta folder contained in the project directory.

Thanks for your bug report. Please try to obtain a backtrace of the freeze http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash and attach the file to the bug report. This will greatly help us in tracking down your problem.

I also deleted the .anjuta folder in the project directory and now anjunta works.

I have the same problem. If I delete the .cache/anjuta directory, anjuta starts, but will freeze next time.

Pedro, no one appears to have given you a backtrace. I'll oblige. I have the sympton as above, hang on the flash screen. However, in my case it seems to manifest when it opens a glade file on startup. It then prompts for the program to edit the glade file, and I select the glade designer program, at which point it halts. Removing the .anjuta directory allows the program to start.

anjuta version 2:2.24.1-0ubuntu1 on Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex. Kernel 2.6.27-11-generic

You don't have to delete the complete .anjuta directory, just delete the entries of .glade files at File Loader section on the .anjuta/session/anjuta.session file.

If you are getting this problem could you please attach the file .anjuta/session/anjuta.session (or anyother file that moving causes the problem to go away)
