Bug Description
Binary package hint: compiz
I tried to enable magnifier, but it said that there was a shortcut conflict. After selecting "resolve conflict" I pressed "disable toggle screen negative" and the system crashed. When I try to login the screen displays lots of blue bars, and I end up at the login screen. I get the same result with failsafe gnome and failsafe terminal, I've also tried to boot in recovery mode and run "fix x-server" without success.
I'm running arrays custom eee-kernel for intrepid, however the standard kernel doesn't work either.

I did exactly the same thing on a Dell Inspiron 6400 with intel graphics just after upgrading to Intrepid, I cannot login either with Gnome or Xfce, with any option on the menu all I get is the same bars and return to the login screen.
