I'm on ubuntu 8.10 and I don't know what appened, only that I changed the hostname and at the session's start I found this crash.

Thank you for the bug report and helping us to make Ubuntu better. You mean the crash happened at the GDM session start after you logged out and logged back in?

 * Is this reproducible?
 * If so, what specific steps should we take to recreate this bug?
 * What crash are you speaking about there is no crash there

 This will help us to find and resolve the problem.
