[Intrepid] Kopete automaticaly merge contacts with the same nick

I have two contacts with nick name "Cristian", and both has MSN and Jabber, so I have each one in a "metacontact", but the problem is that, each time I login into Kopete, they are merged in one single metacontact if they have the same nickname. I had to change the name of the metacontact manually to avoid that behavior.

Sorry, I am not sure if "metacontact" is the correct word, I have kopete translated to Spanish and it says "metacontacto".

This bug did have a wrong package associated with it, which is bad for ensuring that it gets looked at by the proper developers. I am running Intrepid, and there is a package called "kopete":
janus@ernestina ~ $ dpkg -S /usr/bin/kopete
kopete: /usr/bin/kopete

So, I assume it is the correct package association! ¿Isn't?

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. Intrepid reached EOL on April 30 2010

Unfortunately this means that there will be no more bugfixes for Intrepid. It is also recommended that you upgrade, if you have not already.
