On terminal, when I tried drag files on data project:

(brasero:8203): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_drag_begin: assertion `targets != NULL' failed

(brasero:8203): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_set_data_full: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed

(brasero:8203): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_drag_set_icon_default: assertion `GDK_IS_DRAG_CONTEXT (context)' failed

That's the case to change te importance to "Confirmed"?

thanks for the report, that works fine for me with brasero version in Intrepid, may you tell us a few easy steps in order to reproduce the behavior? thanks in advance.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open Brasero
2. Choose Data project
3. On the left pane is shown home directory with some files, the right pane is empty with a fade help text. I can select the files/directories on the left but I just can't drag them wherever I click and -drag--.

I am the owner of files and have rw/x permissions. I can add them if I click on "plus" sign or drag them directly from a Nautilus window.

I have installed brasero-dbgsym0.8.2-0ubuntu1 version because of the other bug. Normal version brasero-0.8.2-0ubuntu1 (shiped with Intrepid) also gives me the same problems. This is what I get in terminal:

(brasero:26202): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_drag_begin: assertion `targets != NULL' failed

(brasero:26202): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_set_data_full: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed

(brasero:26202): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_drag_set_icon_default: assertion `GDK_IS_DRAG_CONTEXT (context)' failed

Please, the bug is not *incomplete*, change to "confirmed".

My system is a fresh-install intrepid and the bug can be reproduced as described by Nenad.

Also, when trying to move files in project pane, it just starts selection lasso, instead of drag&drop
