Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
The option to control computer speed when on battery power or AC power has dissapeared in Intrepid. It was in 8.04 (however, I reinstalled Ubuntu to get to upgrade & get full hd encryption).

Thanks, but upstream have removed all of the cpufreq code in gnome-power-manager for Intrepid. There is an explanation of the reason for doing this from an upstream developer somewhere, but I can't find it at the moment.
