Bug Description

I'm using dapper flight3. I've installed superkaramba and it installed along xmms. It would be nice if superkaramba didn't depend on xmms since not al widgets are for xmms and also the fact tht it's a gtk1 app which I think doesn't make much sense in kubuntu.

Also, now that superkaramba is an official part of kde 3.5 I don't see the meaning of it's dependency.

This situation has gotten a little bit worst. Once xmms is installed, it has becomed my default app to open ogg files. I noticed today while trying to see the recent ubuntu dapper sprint videos.

I've been informed that this is due to the fact that superkaramba has an xmms plugin, so may I suggests having 2 separate packages? Superkaramaba & superkarama-plugins? or something similar.
