all games crash about 5 mins into the game

Binary package hint: netpanzer

this game and all games that i try to play always crash. I am new to this operating system and so have limited ability. i have the 64 bit heroin version of Ubuntu and i was wondering if you could help.i expected it to run and that i would be able to play the game.
