Hi,

firefox extensions are the cause for the majority of bugs reported against firefox.

To check that the bug you are seeing is actually a firefox one (and not an extension one), please disable your extensions one-by-one (restart firefox in between) until there is either no enabled extension left or your problem is resolved.

Please report your findings back.

Thanks,
 - Alexander

Hi,

I had a problem that matched your description exactly. I found the problem... I had a file in my .mozilla profile directory called "sessionstore.js" that was owned by root:root. I changed ownership, and it's working perfectly again.

To fix it, go to the terminal and type:

sudo chown -R `id -u`:`id -g` ~/.mozilla

Hope this solves your problem too.

Hey, Thanks!

But, I had backup my files and reinstalling Intrepid, then saw the problem with extensions. Thanks again! :)
