textfiles "with very long lines" not recognized as text

Bug Description

Textfiles with very long lines and without a file suffix (e.g. ".txt") are displayed as filetype "Unknown" in Konqueror and Dolphin. I suppose it's in kdebase's file associations.

The output from "file" says it's "UTF-8 Unicode text, with very long lines"
(See file attached to this report)

I've tried associating it manually in KDE:
"System Settings > Default Applications > File Associations"

but it seems to be impossible to assign types to suffix-less files, although KDE seems to use "file"'s magic somehow...

Seems to work fine for me in Intrepid.
Which version of KDE/Kubuntu are you using?

Any possibility to manually configure file associations for no-suffix files in KDE?
(as workaround)

I believe that associations are sorted by the mime type of the file.
Anyway, closing as fixed since it's not a problem with Dolphin in Intrepid.
