What exactly are you reffering to here? There is no such thing as "accessibility information" defined in any of the standards for X windows. So are you talking about the window title, the window role or the window class? All three are definitely set by GIMP. So I would say what you are reporting here is a problem elsewhere.

If you have a look to the screenshot attached (please, pay attention to the highlighted line in the accerciser window), you can see that accerciser is not showing the "Name" information for the GIMP main frame. It is only showing the "Name" info for the rest of the frames.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Could you try the same with Karmic or Jaunty? Thanks in advance.

The same thing described by Ara happens on Maverick, accerciser shows no name on the main frame.

I'm sorry, but I can't test this any more on my Ubuntu 13.04 machine. The program accerciser doesn't show GIMP. Are there ways to see this? Please tell me, I want to test it. Thank you!
