MSN disconnects when setting status or log in as "invisible"

Whenever I change Pidgin status to invisible, or connect with invisible status, my MSN account disconnects, with the error: "Connection error from Notification server. Reading error" (I'm translating error from Italian). Invisible status works normally on my jabber account.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Could you try to reproduce the same with Ubuntu 8.10 or 9.04? Thanks in advance.

When logging in with MSN as "invisible", after a few seconds the contacts list has appeared, Pidgin shows: "Connection error from Notification server: reading error".
