Thanks for reporting this bug. Is this crash reproducible? It seems unlikely that opening firefox should cause kmail to crash.

If you are able to find something that reliably induces this crash please install the package kdepim-dbg then induce the crash. This should help us to get a more informative backtrace and find what is actually causing the crash.
