Bug Description

To reproduce:
Launch kate. Type in 1234 (a few numbers only, but no alphanumeric character). Save it and close it. Open the saved text file via dolphin and kate would show a blank window, and not the number.

KDE 4.1.2
Kubuntu Intrepid

Tried to play a bit around with this one and can confirm the bug. The trigger seems to be a missing newline. If a text file only contains a single line and it is not terminated with a new line kate is not able to view the file. It is not required to only type in numbers, you can also type in alphanumeric characters. You can also trigger the bug if you open the file directly in kate. So it is not related to Dolphin at all.
