I nominate ogle for immediate removal from Ubuntu repositories.

Binary package hint: ogle

Ogle is unmaintained, hasn't seen an update in two years, doesn't work worth a darn (I've NEVER seen it work in my nearly two years of using Ubuntu; yes, I install libdvdcss2), and yet somehow it's still in Ubuntu repositories. This makes no sense to me.

By filing this bug, I nominate ogle for immediate removal from Ubuntu repositories.

Thank you for the bug report.

I'd like to add that the version included in the Ubuntu repository is nearly 5 years old, which also happens to be the latest stable release. It is also worth noting Ogle does not seem to have any functionality that isn't provided by other media players.

I talked to the Debian Maintainer and he busy doing his studies but he is still interested in maintaining ogle.
He also thinks that ogle is still a useful peace of software (also if it's old and outdated). So we won't remove it. (For intrepid it's too late anyway).
