Bug Description
Binary package hint: synaptic
There is a grey text at the bottom of a package description about Canonical/Community providing updates for this package. As you can see in the attached screenshot this text also appears for packages from a 3rd party repository. This looks like a legal issue to me and should in my opinion be (if confirmed) release critical.
Version:

I can confirm this behavior when adding the repositories from http:// www.array. org (specifically "deb http:// www.array. org/ubuntu intrepid eeepc") after having imported the gpg key. I note that I don't see this behavior for repositories on launchpad.
