Bug Description

This is a new problem after upgrade of Hardy system to Intrepid.
When I switch systems that are connected by Belkin Flip USB KVM, the mouse stops working.
The keyboard works fine, and the trackpad on the laptop still works.

It does not appear to be related to kernel:
   * Hardy with ubuntu kernel (2.6.25) okay
   * Hardy with mainline kernel (2.6.26) okay
   * Intrepid with mainline kernel (2.6.26) broken
   * Intrepid with ubuntu kernel (2.6.27-xxx) broken
Maybe HAL?
