Bug Description

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-joystick

X11 in 8.10 RC 64 bit Detects all USB Joysticks as Mice.

Effects any USB joystick with an X and Y axis and any game pads with D-Pads mapped to X and Y axis

I have tested this running off the Ubuntu 8.10 RC 64 bit Live CD with the same results.

The joysticks I have tested are:
Saitek ST90
Playstation 3 Sixaxis connected with USB
Radioshack game port to USB adapter

With X11 commandeering the joysticks, it prevents all games from using them.
