Bug Description

Binary package hint: boinc-app-seti

My system freezes randomly since I installed boinc, boinc manager, and boinc-app-seti from the repository. boinc-app-seti will run for several minutes, then the system will hang. All I can do is reboot the system.

Happy to provide whatever info is needed.

I think this bug report is a duplicate of bug #331506. Ubuntu just freezes after a while, no matter if BOINC is running in the background or has been run manually (wich disabled BOINC init script).

I've moved on to later releases of Ubuntu and don't encounter this same problem any more. Recommend we close this one.
