no sound for audio intel 82801I (ICH9 Family) in 8.10 updated

Everything looks good but I do not hear anything. I use Intrepid updated on notebook ASUS M50VC

This is the wrong place for this bug, usm is a web management interface and does not directly deal with hardware.

I ave got exactly the same problem, i have the same hardware as the ouput above for "lshw -c". This problem exists in my linux kernel version "2.6.27-11-generic" and ubuntu 8.10 interpid.

Is there any solution for this problem? or can this bug be put in the rite place?
