Bug Description

Steps to reproduce (reproduced under vista home basic):
- install elisa as a user
- uninstall elisa, as the same user

Expected result:
Elisa gets uninstalled, possibly after a reboot
Current result:
The uninstaller says that many removal actions will be done at the following reboot, but even after a reboot, Elisa is still there

Note:
If the uninstaller is explicitly run as an administrator, Elisa is uninstalled almost correctly: the files are removed, but the shortcuts to elisa remain here as well as some registry keys.

A non admin user does not have rights to install any software. Please provide steps to reproduce the bug.

I could install & Uninstall Elisa now with standard user in Vista. The bug fix is failed. Some Elisa folders are still remaining under User folder after system reboot. Please find attached screenshot for reference.
Hence changing the status to Confirmed & assiging to newer milestone 0.5.18. Adding Tag as Fix-Failed.

Remaining files in User/.elisa-0.5 is normal and expected, what needs to be verified is that all files and directories under the installation directory (e.g. C:\Program Files\Elisa) and the installation directory itself are actually removed.

The uninstallation removes all folders and files from its installation path. As per comments from Olivier Tilloy above, the bug fix is verified & status can be changed. Please change the status to Fix-Verified. I could not find the status as Fix-Verified.

As far as I know there is no "Fix Verified" status. Do you mean add a "fix-verified" tag?
In that case you can do it there: https://bugs.launchpad.net/elisa/+bug/288165/+edit.
