Bug Description
Binary package hint: rhythmbox
In Rhythmbox preferences, if we check "use crossfading backend" we can choose a duration for crossfading (01-60s.). Another feature enabled by this check box is the pause button fade effect. but the duration of this fade is about 1s. and can't be changed in the user interface.
I think 1second fade is too long. Another slider in the preference could be added under the title : Pause Fade in-out duration. with a rang of 50-2000 milli-seconds (or something like this)

thank you for your bug report, that's an upstream request and should be reported on bugzilla.gnome.org though
