On my Lenovo X61 Tablet I've been running Compiz since Hardy. It worked fine when I upgraded to the Intrepid beta, but while trying to determine what was causing a crash (it turned out to be the wireless drivers) I switched from "Normal" effects to "None". If I switch to vt1 (ie: alt-ctrl-F1) I can launch "compiz --replace" and successfully switch to compiz. I'm confused.
