oosplash.bin crashed with SIGSEGV in splash_create_window()

While testing the intrepid RC Ubuntu amd64 dvd, I went to the Examples folder, and double-clicked on the oo-about-these-files document. OO.o Writer opens OK, but then I get a dialog (apport?) saying oosplash.bin crashed.

Seems to be amd64 specific, need to test there, it works fine on i386 for me.
