Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

Just went to http://test.bankid.com (page is in Swedish) and clicked "Nästa" (means "Next") twice. The third page has a java applet.

After approving the certificate, the applet tries to load but firefox crashes almost immediately.

Running Intrepid beta with latest updates.

When testing the same applets with Sun's Java applet plugin in a 32 bit firefox, everything works fine.

which openjdk-6-jre version is this? what plugin does about:plugin show?

Joakim Andersson (jocke) wrote :

$ apt-show-versions openjdk-6-jre
openjdk-6-jre/intrepid uptodate 6b12-0ubuntu4
(I.E. latest in standard Intrepid)

about:plugins says: (as the only installed java plugin)
IcedTea Web Browser Plugin
    File name: IcedTeaPlugin.so
    The IcedTea Web Browser Plugin executes Java applets.
(I.E. icedtea6-plugin)

Also, the same problem occurs if I use the OpenJDK PPA packages (so I downgraded all packages it upgraded again).
