Bug Description
Binary package hint: compiz
Compiz crashes after configuring dual monitor in nvidia display settings manager and trying to write to the xorg.conf file. Subsequently, the nvidia configuration tool crashes as well. Seems to be a need for elevated priviledges to overwrite the backup or modify the xorg.conf file that the settings manager doesn't try to get OR it applies, but compiz freaks out when you change display xorg.conf and add a second display on the fly. Wither way, it revolves around reading and/or writing the xorg.conf file.
