Bug Description
xsane doesn't automatically start when I turn my scanner on although i selected the option in the preferences.
I can start xsane manually and scanning works (at start I have to select the source between my scanner and my tv-card), but it should work automagically when I plug the scanner in.
Scanner: Epson Perfection 640U
Same behaviour on both breezy and dapper.
