sound not working in any movie format in firefox

useing movie player or shockwave flash plugins to play flash movies (and all movie formats i could think of) there is no sound the movie plays perfect apart from the total lack of sound - i have tested with movie player and shockwave flash plugin for firefox.

sorry problem was something else that i over looked before. - not a bug in firefox or any of the flash plugins

Also, we need to know if this occurs only in Firefox, or are other applications affected? Does you system sound play at login?

i feel a bit thick now it was a malfunctioning flash block addon which did not let the sound play but let the video - the addon was flash killer i think. :s
