Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdeedu

I talk with Andreas Nicolai the mantainer of KTouch, i've sent the spanish and latinoamerican keymaps. He approved both of them and tell me that maybe it comes i the release 4.1.2
There is a posibility to offer the keymaps for KDE 3.5 (i'm thinking in edubuntu 8.04 that use this Qt library).
I make this repport as a wishlist but is not minor reason to update the old KDE.
Please tell me if you want the keymaps or you ask for it to Andreas.
Thanks.

Nominating for Hardy and assigning to Jordan Mantha for evaluation if this is of interest for Edubuntu, Kubuntu currently doesn't have available resources for such a SRU.

Sorry but i don't know much how to make a patch, i only send the code to the mantainer and he updates the font code. If you want you can use the files in the attachment.

README ABOUT THE ATTACHMENT

There are four files in the zip, two files are *.keyboard and works with KTouch 1.6 or less (KDE 3.5) the other two files are *.xml and works with KTouch in KDE 4.0.

I don't think at this point Edubuntu has resources for Hardy. I'm also thinking that even though it would be nice to include these additional keymaps for our spanish and latinoamerican users it is perhaps wise not to disturb the existing KDE Edu packages in Hardy by triggering a rebuild to add two files.

Thanks Mauricio for the keymaps and especially for contributing them to KDE so that Edubuntu and Kubuntu users will get them.
