Bug Description

Binary package hint: network-manager-gnome

After logging out, then back in again, the Network manager duplicates the number of devices you have.

I discovered this when using a daily build of the live cd.

Network manager currently thinks I have two intel wireless cards and two Dell netlink ethernet cards

I am experiencing this on Intrepid final (see "screenshot". PrintScr doesn't work while a gnome-panel menu is open!)
Someone at the forum does, too: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=6644031 .

This obsoletes "Screenshot showing triplification of NICs".

gnome-device-manager also displays the duplicates. So the bug seems to be in HAL.
