Thank you for reporting this bug and helping to improve Ubuntu! I am *Confirming* that this bug is valid, I was able to recreate it by left-clicking on the applet, selecting "Show Overview" and then clicking on the settings near the top (Today, Day, Week, Month, etc). I have sent it upstream to it's developers. You can follow it's progress, and leave comments on it here:
