Kernel updates keep smashing my grub list

Bug Description

I have a dual boot XPSP2 - Breezy box. Every single time the kernel gets updated (and that's often, because it's unstable!), I lose my grub list. Then I have to go to my fave editor (mc under vt1) and hand-edit grub's menu.lst. That's unacceptable to an avg user.

Now I see that there's a section which will always be overwriten (starting with '### BEGIN AUTOMAGIC KERNELS LIST'). That's solved, but anyways, the default installation put my Windows entry inside that section, so the next update screwed it up

Put the WinXP boot option under the ### END AUTOMAGIC KERNELS LIST ### bit, and it will be kept, even if grub does not detect your winXP installation.
