Yes it is still an issue for me. I can watch or broadcast audio, but the video camera is not recognized by flash. The camera is recognized by cheese and the same video camera works on an 8.04 install.

1) Broadcasting Audio+Video does not work?
2) It still doesn't work in 9.04 or 9.10 ?

1) Yes, it still does not work.
2) a. It still doesn't work in 9.04 w/ 32bit Flash from repo nor 64bit Alpha from Adobe; in 9.04 I can not watch a broadcast from ustream.tv either. (regression)
2) b. I have not tested it in 9.10 yet, but will in the next few days.

Jakob - what do you want as information that has not already been provided?

Ok, just to update on this bug, I managed to get ustream to work in a Kubuntu Karmic 64bit box so here it goes. Found these instructions in the webcamstudio webpage (http://www.ws4gl.org/):

Go to http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager06.html

Set ustream and everything else you want to "always allow".

It's an ugly workaround, there are privacy issues with it, but at least it gets ustream to work. Video and sound streaming now work perfectly from here.
