At what point does this crash occur? Is it reproducible? Does it still occur if you remove/rename ~/.gnome2/mail-notification so that it creates a fresh config?

This crash occurred while I was managing with another applets on the panel. I removed Notification applet and Indicator applet, then I've added Notificatio napplet again and I believe that it crashed when I added again Indicator applet.
These movements were the cause (I did them because I cannot move applets from right of the clock applet to left).

I did just the same then Christian, when this bug occured. Except: I didn't added the Indicator applet to the panel. The crash occured when I re-added the Notification applet.

Mail Notification crashed right after warm boot. The only curiosity is that when I installed Mail Notification a few days ago, (besides having to move the plugins from the Evolution 2.24 folder where they're incorrectly installed) is that I had to manually add the mail-notification to my startup application list.

I wrote the entry on 11-25. Mail-notification crashed again today. No particular reason. Nothing happening. Last note I indicated that I had to manually add it to my startup application list, however then I found that I was getting a crash at boot... because apparently there were two of them trying to start. I removed my addition to my startup app list, and mail-notification seemed to automatically come on after boot/login! However, now it's back to having to manually start it again.

I'm duplicating this bug to bug 924647 where this is seen with more up do date hardware and Ubuntu versions.
