Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
Since Firefox 3 extended validation SSL certificates (e.g. from Verisign) should show with a green URL bar and information about the owner of the domain.
This feature seems not to work, or not to be active in Ubuntu. I tested several sites with EV certificates, like https:/
I add two screenshots
- FF3 in Windows XP
- FF3 in Ubuntu 8.10
Version Information:
noone@nowhere:~$ lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu intrepid (development branch)
Release: 8.10
Source: firefox-3.0
Version: 3.0.3+nobinonly
