Spaces between text.

Binary package hint: mozilla-firefox

After trying to compile swfdec, the text in firefox had large spaces between words. (see screenshot)

I've tried purging all mozilla/firefox related packages, and then 'apt-get autoclean' 'apt-get autoremove' 'apt-get check' and 'apt-get clean' , "sudo make uninstall" in the swfdec folders(swfdec and the mozilla plugin) and creating a new profile didn't fix it.

"apt-cache policy firefox" returns

HI,

I've the same problem with ubuntu 8.10 and firefox 3.0.4

The problem happended when I update the Downthemall add-on.

I reinstalled the firefox, I uninstalled and installed, delete preferents, change profile.

Any idea?

I searched in google and I think that have a workaround. See the https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-mozillateam-bugs/2008-November/059798.html

I uninstall the libgraphite3 and pango-graphite 0.9.2-3.1, and the firefox run fine, then I test to install libgraphite3 only and firefox run but when I install pango-graphite I've got the same problem.
