Bug Description
Binary package hint: compiz
I was watching a video using vlc in fullscreen mode, but there were occasional slight video freezes. So, I quit the fullscreen mode. Then, I used the CPU frequency applet to crank up the cpu governor from "ondemand" to "performance". Finally, I double-click the vlc video window to enable fullscreen mode again. During this time, the video continued to playback.
The entire screen froze for a few seconds as vlc attempt to go to fullscreen mode; then compiz crashed, and reverted to metacity.
