Firefox file-print-general selection 1,3 prints pages 1-3

Ubuntu 8.04, firefox 3.0.3

I want pages 1 and 3. it prints 1 and 2 and 3.
1-3 works fine. I got 1 and 2 and 3.
Just checking : 1.3 prints only page 1

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Could you try to reproduce the same with Ubuntu 8.10 or 9.04? Thanks in advance.

Just checked how it works and it still works as earlier :

I can't print pages 1 and 3 using selection "1,3".

It prints all pages.
My Ubuntu is 8.10 and Firefox 3.0.5.

Since this report have a long time without activity, could you check (if is possible) in latest version included in Karmic if this issue is still happening? Additionally, I tried to reproduce this issue and I cannot reproduce it (using firefox 3.5.5),

I'm using Firefox version 3.0.15 by Ubuntu version 9.04.
Just checked and results were :
"1,3" printed pages 1 and 2 and 3.
"1.3" printed page 1.
"1-3" printed printed pages 1 and 2 and 3.
As I remember it is same as earlier, " not possible to print pages 1 and 3".

Here I couldn't find version 3.5.5 from synaptic.

 From my point of view, selection by page numbers should be like 1-5,
11, 14, 21-34 ... etc.
Of course, File --> printer (?) selection gives me VERY USEFULL
selection pf even / odd or right / left pages for two side printing.
