pc crashes when movie player is switched to fullscreen

Bug Description

Binary package hint: totem

 Every time I put the movie player to full screen,it shuts down my pc to the sign in screen.I don't know if the gstreamer codec is the problem. E-mail me at <email address hidden> if you have a solution. Thanks.

whatever the application do the system should not crash, that's rather an xorg-server, video driver or linux bug, what videocard and driver do you use? can you ssh to the box after getting the issue? could you attach your messages syslog and Xorg.0.log logs to the bug?

We're closing this bug since it is has been some time with no response from the original reporter. However, if the issue still exists please feel free to reopen with the requested information. Also, if you could, please test against the latest development version of Ubuntu, since this confirms the bug is one we may be able to pass upstream for help.
