Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-session

I have manually copied the files off my WinXP CD into /home/spud/xp.

I tried to burn a new XP CD from this folder with the default software (places -> CD/DVD creator). Drag the files/folders in. Click the burn button. It looks like it's worked. It exits ok. But there's nothing on the CD. Tried to burn an iso/image instead. Same problem.

Tracked it down to the /i386 folder. Excluding this folder, it burns ok. including, it fails. Just burning this folder only fails. Checked permissions with ls -la. Nothing odd. But it contains 6000+ files. Maybe this is the problem.

I'm using Ubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04.1 , all is uptodate as I write.

Thank you for your bug report, could you run gconf-editor, enable the debug option in apps, nautilus-cd-burner, run the software on a command line to copy to the cd and add the log to a comment?
