Bug Description
When attempting to set up my mobile phone as a bluetooth modem, I could not find a way to specify the device node (/dev/rfcomm0). I have the bluetooth binding set up correctly, and I have the connection working with gnome-ppp.
Description: Ubuntu intrepid (development branch)
Release: 8.10

This remained an issue with 9.04, and remains in 9.10. This regression on modems has been going on a long time, which leads me to ask: Is ANYONE doing ANYTHING with nm? Of 233 outstanding bugs, you have 3 marked as fixed. If I sort them by 'oldest first' the second one in the list (posted 2 and a half years ago) is marked 'new'.
If the network- manager- applet is abandoned, someone should post a sign and migrate Ubuntu to something that actively under development.
