Yes, this is still present in 9.04. I'd attach the crash output. but I'm currently using my own kernel, so it'd be invalid.

I thought Ubuntu wouldn't provide support if I used custom components,but perhaps that only applies to commercial customers...

Anyway, I can't currently reproduce this bug in Konqueror 4.2.2 (though I still can't load the applet for an apparently unrelated reason). I'm guessing whatever was causing the problem has been fixed.

Well, "support" usually means security bugfixes. And yes, if you filed kernel bugs that weren't present then those would be invalid. But as long as you didn't touch the KDE packages it should be fine to report bugs against them.

Anyways, as long as the crash is fixed...
