Bug Description
My current pidgin window has been expanded to approximately 85% the width of one of the monitors on my dual-head system. No matter what I try to do to resize the window it doesn't resize. I have tried closing and restarting the client thinking there was something stateful within the current executing instance, but so far no luck.

I am running into the same issue where I can't resize the Buddy List window. It has been expanding across my screen a 1680x1440 screen now taking up close to 600 across the screen.
I am also running Ubuntu 8.04.1 (hardy) I installed Pidgin from the package manager that was supplied with this Distro.
