Bug Description

Some tunnels are used for a very specific purpose. For example, I have a forwarded port defined to allow a synergy connection between my laptop and my desktop machines that I use when my laptop is connected via wireless to an outside-the-firewall WAP at my office. For such a tunnel, it would be nice to be able to define a command to be run when the tunnel is opened, and another to run when the tunnel is closed.

This feature is required for the eventual version 1.0.

I'm backing off on this one for 1.0. It's not a common feature in such apps, and I'm not completely certain about the details.

For example, sometimes it can take several seconds for the tunnel to really be started. Some programs will require the tunnel to be fully functional before they will work correctly. How will the program know that it's OK to run the start script?

Moving this one back to 'New' to indicate that it's been put on the back burner.
