Single click does not restore view of email

Steps:
  1. Click on an email from the emails list window
  2. Type Ctrl+A to select all emails
  3. Click a single time on one particular email

What happens:
  After step 1, the body of some email is shown.
  After step 2, the window showing emails body becomes empty, because we have
selected more than one email.
  After step 3, the window with the body of the email remains blank.

What should happen:

  After step 3, the message body of the email we have selected should be shown.

Thanks for your bug. That works as expected for me. What version of
evolution/ubuntu do you use?

My version of Evolution:
   2.4.1-0ubuntu7
My version of Ubuntu:
   5.10 on Xeon EMT64 (64 bits)
   5.10 on a Pentium 4 (x86 32 bits)
Both boxes contain all updates and
I see this consistently on all folders on both machines.

Notice -- and perhaps I did not explain myself clear --
that out of the three panels (folder tree, table of
messages and message text) it is the message text that
remains empty.

The original report was wrong: for step 3. to fail you have to click on the same email as you clicked on for step 1.

Upstream bug has been marked as duplicate of bug https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=540160, which should be fixed in Ubuntu since Ubuntu 9.04.
