Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-applets
== Regression details ==
Discovered in version:2.24.0
Last known good version:2.22.0
I am using 2 monitors that are on 2 different x screens, without Xinerama.
When I click on the gnome-mixer(on the second screen), the opening bar, that allows to adjust the sound level, is shown beneath the gnome panel on the first screen. this wasn't the case back in gnome 2.22
the menu items "Preferences" and "about" open windows on the wrong screen, too. though this is a bug that existed in gnome 2.22, too. nevertheless it is a bug.
kernel: 2.6.27-4-generic
Ubuntu: Intrepid(8.10)
gnome-panel:2.24.0
Gnome: 2.24.0
my video driver is:
nvidia-glx-173:
Installed: 173.14.
Candidate: 173.14.

Thank you for your bug report, there is no need to open upstream bugs on launchpad too though
