Bug Description
Binary package hint: hpijs
I assume that this is an hpijs problem. Trying to print a web-mail page caused Firefox to crash, but printing with 8.10 Beta is a no-go with my HP Deskjet 5440. (It worked out-of-box in both 7.10 and 8.04)
Regardless of the Firefox crash printing does NOT work properly. It just prints a line or two of complete gibberish at the top of the page and keeps doing so until it either runs out of paper or until I kill the process.
This time it just happened to kill Firefox since I tried printing a web-mail page rather than installing the hplip gui and trying to print a test page.
