Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

Symptom: Firefox 3.0.3 crashes when I load http://www.evernote.com/. This is a vanilla install of firefox; I haven't installed any strange plugins; just did a dist-upgrade to intrepid and loaded up firefox. Other sites (such as Launchpad) and anything else I've been using all work fine.

Which flash package do you have installed?
Which Java package do you have installed?

This is what appears when I run it in a terminal window:

david@david-laptop:~$ firefox
**
Gtk:ERROR:/build/buildd/gtk+2.0-2.14.3/gtk/gtkplug.c:201:gtk_plug_set_is_child: assertion failed: (!GTK_WIDGET (plug)->parent)
Aborted (core dumped)

The flash plugin is "Shockwave Flash 9.0 r124". As far as I can tell I don't have Java installed - how can I tell this from a shell? I have confirmed that the problem still happens when I load the site.
