image smashes while opening applications

Bug Description

image smaches when I open applications (for example firefox, opera, thunderbird) in full screen mode. in hardy everything was ok. it happens when compiz enabled and disabled (but when it's disabled the effect is not so big). I use asus u5f notebook (core duo 1.8, 2,5 gb ram, intel gma 950) with ubuntu 8.10 beta (gnome 2.24, 2.6.27-7-generic)

I've installed relize 8.10 and I still have the same problem. May be the metter is in intel driver?

I have the same problem. Compize still work correct like on Ubuntu 8.04, but applications like Nexuiz or other games, which need fullscreen mode, doesn't work right.
