Bug Description
If the users runs the "system>
that they have two instances of vino-preferences running at the same time, they
will be unable to enter a password.
The two processes seem to interfer with each other in some way that makes
password entry impossible. The password keeps being truncated to one or two
characters no matter how much they type.
I was trying to talk someone through the process of setting up their remote
desktop recently and this happened. It's not an easy problem to diagnose given
that you're not able to see their screen (yet).
